U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Tucson Ariz. sought to hire hundreds at an event last week, according to the local ABC News station. The agency said it was seeking qualified personnel for frontline, mission and operations support positions in 2011, including 2,200 Border Patrol agents. Recruiting kiosks were available for applicants to begin the process as human resources staff answered questions about qualifications for the agent position.
