• Des Moines offers bike-sharing kiosks

Des Moines recently installed four bike-sharing kiosks capable of renting 18 bikes, making it the third city after Chicago and Denver to offer the system from B-Cycle, according to bikeradar.com.
 
Users of the Des Moines program can choose from several passes allowing access to the bikes — one-day for $5, monthly for $30 or an annual pass for $50. B-Cycle bikes may be returned to any kiosk with an open dock.
