Almo Professional A/V announced that it is hosting two webinars next week focusing on touch technology.
Both are worth InfoComm CTS renewal units and will be presented by Brawn Consulting and sponsored by Canvys.
The first is "The Fundamentals of Touch Technology and Integration," presented by Jonathan Brawn, principal, Brawn Consulting. It's set for Wednesday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m. Eastern, and Almo says it will focus on technical aspects, with a full tutorial of the different types of touch technologies, how they work, the pros and cons of each, and what is appropriate for different applications.
The second, "Exploring Touch Market Opportunities & Applications," will be presented by Alan Brawn, principal, Brawn Consulting, the following day at 2 p.m. Eastern. According to Almo, it will investigate the current state of the art and look at ways to start incorporating touch technology into projects and how to justify and quote touch, leading to higher margin business.
