• Qantas unveils new airport check-in kiosk

The Australian reports that Qantas has released a new airport self-check-in kiosk that will check in passengers in five seconds and give electronic bag tags for luggage tracking.
 
The airline's new, smart chip-embedded Q Card frequent flyer card will ID passengers and their flights, and the new kiosk system also will send a confirmation text message with flight information to passengers within 15 seconds.
