BeyondKiosks.com today unveiled its latest kiosk offering, an industrial-quality iPad enclosure based on the company's Exquisite family of professional kiosk and digital sign enclosures.
The iPad enclosure was created specifically for the iPad's distinct feature set, according to the company's release:
- The enclosure features a radio-transparent, heavy-duty plastic body. All Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 3G radio frequencies are totally unimpeded.
- The front bezel restricts the use of the iPad's Home button, so users cannot escape from the kiosk application.
- The iPad's power and volume buttons can be accessed by the technician without disassembling the enclosure.
- The iPad's headset jack and data connector are accessible for incorporating audio systems and data communications.
- The enclosure uses a standard 100mm VESA mounting system and can be used with hundreds of off-the-shelf mounting systems, in both landscape and portrait modes.
