NEW HARTFORD, NY — ParTech Inc. has introduced the PAR EverServ Kiosk 6000 to provide customers self-service options that speed customer service, according to a press release.
ParTech developed the new touchscreen, full-featured kiosk in collaboration with ISV partners Titan and Vista Entertainment Solutions. ParTech worked with Titan and Vista to optimize, test and integrate their cinema ticketing application software into the EverServ Kiosk 6000 as well as integrating ParTech's own EverServ PixelPoint POS application with the kiosk.
"We are impressed with how easy the cinema ticketing kiosk is to use and how much our customers have appreciated the convenience of this option," said Ewnetu Admassu, general manager, Lincoln Plaza Cinemas. "The kiosk has helped us to provide extended services to Lincoln Plaza Cinema patrons."
The CustomerTixs software offers a range of functionality, from fulfillment-only ticket-collection mode to the ability for patrons to buy regular or advance tickets and view a seating plan before they make their purchase. Cinema operators can also use it to generate advertising revenue by running advertising between ticketing transactions, taking advantage of the EverServ Kiosk 6000 system's display capabilities.
"The EverServ Kiosk 6000 supports a range of peripherals such as scanners, printers and card readers in an industrial strength cabinet," said Dave Smith, product manager, Vista Entertainment Solutions.
The ParTech EverServ POS Kiosk 6000 system features a bright, 15-inch LCD display with high-durability capacitive touchscreen technology. An optional second, flat-panel monitor up to 24 inches in screen size can be used to display video and other content. Other features include a dual-speaker audio system, an omni-directional scanner, a ticket or receipt printer and dispenser, and an optional mini-keyboard and touch pad.
