• Houston area hospital deploys self check-in kiosks

The Cypress, Texas, Cypress Times reports that Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital near Houston has deployed self check-in kiosks in two of its departments.
 
The kiosks, which offer services such as registration, check-in and patient information updating access, are located at the hospital's main registration desk and Women's Imaging Center. According to the report, the kiosks are complemented by online check-in and information services, as well as free Wi Fi access in the hospital.
