NCR names new general counsel

NCR has named Jennifer Daniels as its general counsel and corporate secretary, reporting to NCR chairman and CEO, Bill Nuti.

Daniels most recently served as vice president-general counsel and secretary of Barnes & Noble. She will be responsible for all legal matters at NCR. She was selected following a search and evaluation of internal and external candidates.

Earlier in her career, Daniels served for more than 16 years with IBM, holding positions including vice president-general counsel for IBM Americas, vice president-assistant general counsel for litigation and, most recently, vice president-assistant general counsel and chief trust and compliance officer.
