• Miami startup edging into DVD-rental kiosk business

Miami's UniversiDVD tried targeting universities for DVD-rental kiosks, but has switched gear to target grocery stores as it tries to find a niche providing kiosks for chains too small for the big fish, according to the Miami Herald.

UniversiDVD, 26-year-old Bryan Ravit's young company, places movie-rental kiosks in retail locations, primarily small independent grocery chains. The company has five kiosks in place currently and just signed a deal with a small Connecticut chain.
