• U.K.'s largest independent video game retailer testing game info kiosks

Chips, the United Kingdom's largest independent video game retail chain, is testing the Xplace Games Advisor interactive information kiosk in five of its stores, according to video gaming magazine and Web site MCV.

The Xplace kiosks provide customers with information on new releases, product descriptions and the latest video game trailers, as well as letting them browse the store's stock, and feedback from the stores has been uniformly positive.
