West Texas Jack in the Boxes expediting customer ordering with self-service kiosks

Four Jack in the Box restaurants in Odessa and Midland, Texas, are using self-service kiosks to act as a second or third open register to take customer orders, according to the Odessa American.

The kiosks allow the restaurant to speed order-taking and payment-acceptance and aren't taking jobs away from flesh-and-blood workers, franchise operator Jason Brown told the newspaper recently.
