China Southern Airlines expanding deployment of NCR check-in kiosks

NCR Corp. has announced that China Southern Airlines expects to add 40 NCR self-service check-in kiosks to the 30 units the airline deployed earlier this year. Those self-check-in kiosks are deployed at CSA's hubs in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Changchun and Zhenghou. The new installations are slated for Beijing, Shenzhen, Urumqi and Dalian.

NCR says China Southern has seen a 30-percent adoption rate at the Guangzhou hub and expects the number to continue rising, as self-service airline check-in is relatively new to China.
