FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Direct Technology Innovations has announced that it is providing its Click to Go Online Ordering pilot program for Pizza Inn in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
The company expects a complete rollout throughout North Carolina, according to a news release.
Click to Go, in effect, is a virtual drive-thru that is accessible from any computer, laptop, PDA or even cell phone. Pizza Inn expects the service to expand its restaurants' capacity, increase the accuracy of orders, reduce overhead and improve customer loyalty.
"Our company has always taken a leadership role in spearheading innovations and embracing modern technology," said Michael Slominski, DTI vice president of sales: "By layering convenience, accessibility, and improving order accuracy, Click to Go Online Ordering brings a savvier, consistent, and more satisfied customer to Pizza Inn."
Studies show that customers who order online tend to purchase more items per order.
Today, nearly 50 million Americans are using credit cards for purchases under $15. This figure reflects approximately 85% of all online purchases. The success and impact of DTI's Swipe N' Go brought to the QSR market a few years ago, DTI's new Click to Go Online Ordering now offers customers and restaurant merchants a new online "self-service" experience. By opening a new revenue stream into the restaurant industry with just a simple homepage menu and a mouse click, customers now have unrestricted access to order large quantities for a select time of pickup and at specific location.
"We see the simple menu setup, self-activation and flexible pricing options as a true advantage to be more competitive," states Jill Poythress Nielsen, Area Supervisor for Pizza Inn. "Furthermore, DTI is a proven leader in the credit card processing industry. They are the ideal and logical partner to help us launch online ordering."
