ABERDEEN, N.C. — Meridian Kiosks, a self-service kiosk and device manufacturer, announced that Robert Giblett has joined its executive management team as vice president of sales and marketing.
Giblett has previously served as vice president of sales for enterprise-class software company Netkey Inc. and for Slabb Corp., and was vice president of sales and marketing for KING Products & Solutions Inc.
"We're excited to have Robert join our team to spearhead our sales team," said Chris Gilder, Meridian chief executive. "Meridian Kiosks has seen strong growth in 2008, and we'll be stepping up our market penetration efforts in 2009 by bringing on several new members of our sales team. With a strong balance sheet, we're well positioned to continue to expand our business in a challenging economic climate."
Robert's earlier career included executive sales roles in telecom and voice-over-IP companies, founding his own software company involved in bringing next-generation VoIP technologies into the Canadian market.
