Electronicnews.com: Elo has released 15D1 All-in-One Touchcomputer for kiosk information systems, POS, point-of-service, loyalty systems, home control, and Internet access points applications. The computer uses an Intel Celeron 1.8 GHz processor and supports Microsoft Windows XP, WEPOS and Vista and is available with a variety of Elo touch technologies including IntelliTouch surface acoustic wave, True-Flat AccuTouch 5-wire resistive and Zero-Bezel Acoustic Pulse Recognition. Installable peripherals include: Magnetic strip reader, a rear-facing display for customers to verify transactions, a biometric fingerprint reader for added security and a single 1-D or omni-directional 2-D barcode scanner.
