MANISTEE, Mich. — Little River Casino, with 900 employees from a four-county region, added NEXTEP SYSTEMS touchscreen kiosks to automate employee meal purchases.
According to a news release, the NEXTEP kiosks automate food ordering from the Rapids Delicatessen and The Willows restaurant, allowing employees to purchase meals with discount pricing, and can delay order delivery for a future request — determining when the employee is on break or ends the work shift. The NEXTEP kiosks are tightly integrated to Little River's MICROS POS System.
"The Little River staff has been with us from the very beginning. Asking NEXTEP SYSTEMS to install our touchscreen ordering systems in our dining room has been very beneficial to all involved," said Ron Pete, food and beverage director at Little River Casinos. "Our growth is based upon our employees' happiness."
Little River's next step is implementing additional NEXTEP self-order kiosks in the Willows family buffet, which will support multiple tender types including loyalty cards.
