TROY, Mich. — METRO Silver Diner has selected NEXTEP SYSTEMS to implement touchscreen order kiosks and digital menu boards throughout its new METRO restaurant chain. "The Next Generation Diner theme is a faster, more casual version of our parent, Silver Diner — with food for today's healthy on-the-go lifestyle," said Mike Snow, vice president of information systems. "The METRO brand matches NEXTEP's touchscreen and digital menu board solutions perfectly — making our atmosphere fun, cool, and connected." NEXTEP has already implemented touchscreen kiosks for carry out and dine in ordering at the Fairfax, Virginia location. NEXTEP will soon implement its digital menu boards at the Fairfax METRO. NEXTEP has also signed a deal to implement kiosks and digital menu boards at the Annapolis, Maryland location, opening Spring 2009. The NEXTEP SYSTEMS team has also seamlessly integrated with MICROS for this solution.
METRO Silver Diner is a "next generation diner," with a fully connected atmosphere including free Wi-Fi, touchscreen order kiosks and digital menu boards.
