Tier Technologies buys assets of electronic payment provider ChoicePay

Thepaypers.com: US payment services provider Tier Technologies has closed a contract to acquire ChoicePay, an electronic services provider with a suite of payment channels, including walk-up payment kiosks. Tier is to buy the latter's assets for $7.5 million and an earn-out based upon a percentage of the company's future profitability of up to $2 million.
