Advertisers attract customers with scent-producing kiosks

Geek.com: Japan's Recruit Co. Ltd., a Tokyo-based advertising firm, is using a kiosk with a 42-inch LCD screen and a scent diffuser to emit the smell of delicious foods at an underground mall in Tokyo. The LCD shows a sequence of advertising that corresponds to the scent to draw passers-by into the eating establishment.
