CHICAGO — GlobalShop, billed as "the world's largest annual retail design and in-store marketing trade show," opens its doors today at Chicago's McCormick Place West Facility. The exhibit floor is slated to include 900 companies, offering more than 8,000 new products and services.
According to The Nielsen Company, more than 15,000 attendees visit the show each year.
Special areas will include the idX Green Product Challenge, which will show more than two dozen environmentally friendly tools for retailers, and the New Product Showcase, which aims to collect the best and most innovative new products under one umbrella.
Wednesday, March 19, is Digital Signage Day, sponsored by Digital Signage Today. The event also will host numerous self-service and kiosk applications.
