EDINA, Minn. — Touch ‘n Save is a personal grocery shopping assistant that can explain the different cuts of meat, help plan a menu, provide recipes, print money-saving coupons and create a complete shopping list.
Today's busy shoppers can leave their coupons at home and still save money at the store. New Touch 'n Save kiosks from Customer-Facing Media provide coupons and recipes that customers print with the touch of a button. "Busy shoppers just don't have time to clip and catalogue dozens of coupons for each shopping trip," said CFM president John Lonsbury. "With Touch ‘n Save, shoppers select coupons for the products they want while they are in the store. A touch of the screen and the kiosk prints the individual coupons, with no clipping or sorting." With more than 400 carefully selected recipes available on the kiosks, shoppers also can quickly find new and appetizing recipes to match their family's tastes. The kiosks stand nearly seven feet tall and are easily seen by shoppers as they make their way through the produce and meat departments. A typical customer experience with Touch ‘n Save includes browsing for new recipes, selecting and printing coupons for needed products, and printing a computer generated shopping list that includes all of the items needed to make the recipes — all sorted by department. The Touch ‘n Save Kiosks are currently installed in all Twin Cities Cub Foods stores with plans to expand to other grocery chains by the end of this year.
