SoloHealth seeks backing for vision-testing kiosks

Tech Journal South: Bart Foster came up with the idea for automated self-service vision-testing kiosks in malls and other public places while at CIBA Vision, the eye care unit of Novartis. Foster now heads SoloHealth, a spinout from CIBA, which is seeking from $2 million to $3 million in initial capital to move toward tests of the concept next year.
