Solutrea wins Army and Air Force digital signage contract

FREDERICK, Md. — Solutrea Inc., the main subsidiary of Powerstar International Inc., announced that it has been awarded a contract from the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) to supply, install and warrant the head-end and remote systems to support the AAFES upgrade to HDTV broadcasts.

The new systems will support AAFES mission to supply digital signage, internal training broadcasts and consumer information and programming to strategic locations within the AAFES military stores located on 180 military bases around the globe. The contract is worth more than two million dollars and is for the twelve months July 2007 to June 2008.
