Miamiherald.com: The U.S. government's growing appetite for biometrics-based identification systems is generating billions of dollars in opportunities for the evolving biometrics industry — an industry that's come of age since 9/11. One stock analyst says at least 10 major U.S. government initiatives will generate more than $8 billion in business over the next five years, with overseas projects generating another $14 billion.
