ORLANDO, Fla. — Coin Free LLC announced the availability of its Coin Free BUMP, a debit- and credit-card acceptor that validates payment information wirelessly through cellular networks while allowing the operator to remotely monitor kiosk vitals and daily sales reports.
The BUMP works alongside any coin or bill acceptor, includes a pulse interface to connect with existing cash acceptors and an RS-232 serial port to talk directly with the kiosk controller. Also, it has three additional sensor inputs to track user-specified variables like consumables, product dispensers, mechanical coin acceptors, and/or known service call variables. An operator can monitor remotely any aspect of the kiosk's daily operation through a Web site.
The BUMP mounts to any 3.75-inch by 2.25-inch surface with standard back-mounted bolts. For retrofits on kiosks with injection-molded cases, Coin Free offers several side-mounting brackets to accommodate any space.
