Radiant, VeriFone team up for table-based payment system

ePaynews: VeriFone has integrated its On The Spot mobile payment system with Radiant Systems' Aloha point-of-sale system. The two firms say they will work together to market the combined system, which allows payments to be made at tables to restaurant operators in North America.

Radiant and VeriFone are trialing their pay-at-the-table technology at Fatz CafÃ© in Widner, Ga. Because cardholders never part with their credit or debit cards, pay-at-the-table systems help prevent payment card fraud, the companies say.
