• Report: Alameda County e-voting machines secure

The Mercury News: Alameda County supervisors approved a report saying the county's new electronic voting systems are secure, though a lawsuit alleges officials haven't looked hard enough for potential problems.

Supervisors accepted the report Tuesday after outside consultants reported that vulnerabilities with the $13.3 million system could be eliminated before elections next month.
