PARMA, Italy — Custom Engineering announced the launch of its new VKP80 II, a restyling of its VKP80 kiosk printer series. VKP80 II printers are suitable for ATMs and kiosk applications with a printing speed of 220mm/sec and a very small footprint. The printer supports paper widths of 60, 80 and 82.5mm, and is adjustable by the user.
The printer also features "ejecting" and "retracting" ticket functions and a paper pre-tensioner system for high-capability paper rolls. The paper outlet mouth lights up during ticket presentation. Serial RS232, USB and Ethernet interface are included.
All Custom kiosk printers are equipped with status monitor software that gives remote monitoring of printer status. E-mail or SMS messages can be generated warning when paper is nearing the end.
