Cemetery deploys Internet kiosk

Salina Journal: Salina, Kan.-based Gypsum Hill Cemetery recently installed a touchscreen computer kiosk that gives users the ability to search for names and information regarding gravesite locations, dates of birth, death and interment.

Until a few years ago, there was a cemetery caretaker who lived on the grounds. But when that position was discontinued, the city added the kiosks to help bridge the gap between visitors and cemetery maintenance employees who are on site only during normal weekday hours.
