Saudis conduct 4.3 billion ATM transactions in first half of '06

Al Bawaba: The Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency says Saudis withdrew SAR 68 billion (U.S. $18 billion) from ATMs in the Kingdom throughout the first half of 2006. Saudis also executed 4.3 billion ATM transactions over the same period. According to SAMA, Saudi banks have issued 359,117,900 ATM cards so far for the year, and the Kingdom's number of ATMs now totals 5,377 units.
