CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Source Technologies, provider of integrated solutions for managing financial transactions and other secure business processes, has announced availability of its new integrated touchscreen PC for use in the company's Concourse transactional kiosks.
The new touchscreen PC features extensive connectivity and can support up to nine kiosk devices, making it ideal for transactional-kiosk applications. It also features a low-heat design, providing cool, fan-less operation with 24/7 reliability for retail environments. The integrated touchscreen PC is a fully embedded device that is thinner than many flat-screen monitors and requires less power to operate.
"Customers immediately see the benefit of our fully embedded system. By reducing the number of discreet components in the platform, customers enjoy lower power-consumption, greater reliability and the ability to upgrade over the life of the kiosk," said Mike Bailey, vice president of engineering at Source Technologies. "It also reduces the complexity of the overall kiosk design, which lessens equipment problems and lowers operating costs versus competitive systems."
