Business First: Captive Indoor Media LLC, a Louisville, Ky.-based firm, produces software that incorporates advertisements, news and cable feeds, trivia, music and other entertainment to occupy minutes otherwise wasted while waiting in a bank-teller line. The content is displayed on flat-panel televisions, creating dynamic digital signs.

"It's all about pushing the right product at the right time," said president Brian Nutt. "You have varied demographics that frequent a bank during the day. In the morning, it might be older customers. Later in the day, it might be younger business owners."
