ePaynews: Visa International is building on its Visa Wave contactless payment technology infrastructure in Malaysia by launching the world's first mobile phone-based Visa Wave contactless payment pilot. A four-month trial by Visa, Nokia, Malayan Banking and mobile operator Maxis Communications will allow 200 Maxis subscribers to use their phone handsets to make payments via the near-field communications standard.
