ATLANTA — NCR Corp. announced an NCR RealPartner agreement with WineMiner LLC to offer merchants an enhanced marketing tool developed for wine buyers in the U.S. retail environment.
WineMiner's WinesandRecipes.com self-service kiosk, the first commercial toolset of its kind, enables retailers to market an entire consumer experience around wine and food pairings. Combining the NCR EasyPoint kiosk with WinesandRecipes.com's customized software creates a merchandising tool designed to cross-sell wines, cheeses and other assorted food items. The kiosk also provides targeted promotional opportunities to retailers, distributors and wineries for the customer at the point of decision.

While the online version of WinesandRecipes.com contains information and ratings on over 30,000 wines and hundreds of cheeses, the kiosk solution contains information customized to each retailer's wine and cheese inventory. This feature targets retailers with a keen interest in tailored customer service.
