Buying smart cards in Jersey could become easier

Asbury Park Press: Vending machines that sell and refill borough parking authority smart cards in Red Bank, N.J., could be coming to a downtown bank lobby, possibly by the summer. Smart cards that pay for parking at meters went into use a little more than a year ago, and the Borough Council's parking committee has been exploring ways to expand the program by purchasing two or three vending machines, said Stanley Sickels, borough administrator.
