As a leading voice of the human resource profession, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) maintains a constant exchange of information between staff and membership to deliver critical information on current trends and policies in HR. Consequently, information obtained through membership surveys has helped bring SHRM to the forefront of their industry, both in visibility and expertise. They are now the world's largest human resource management association.
More than 165,000 professional and student members worldwide depend on SHRM for education and information services, conferences and seminars, government and media representation, and online services, such as survey research. Since its inception in January 1996, the SHRM Survey Program has developed into a highly successful and visible program. The survey data collected has been used by SHRM staff, SHRM members, prospective members, public policy makers, the press and other selected groups.
