The WinesandRecipes.com kiosk, the first commercial electronic toolset of its kind, enables Fausto's to market an entire consumer experience around wine and food pairings. Consumers obtain ratings and reviews for all of the retailer's wines along with recommendations for complementary cheeses and recipes. While the popular Internet version of WinesandRecipes.com contains information on over 30,000 wines plus hundreds of cheeses and recipes, the kiosk version is customized to Fausto's own wine and cheese inventory. The customizable configuration of this powerful merchandising tool results in a rich environment for cross-selling wines, cheeses and food items. The kiosk also provides targeted promotional opportunities for retailers, distributors and wineries to the customer at the point of selection.
