The News-Times (Conn.): Washington Mutual Bank is trying an innovative self-service approach with its new Connecticut branches, using a combination of personal teller attention and kiosk booths. Mark Ligas, an associate professor of marketing at Fairfield University, said the Washington Mutual approach could draw in people who dread lines.
