U.S. to get more card-enabled vending machines

ePaynews: Five to eight million vending machines are estimated to be in use in the United States, just two to three percent of which are credit card-enabled, according to a Michigan State University study. Vending sales generate $18 billion annually and are the largest cash market in the U.S., which is encouraging card processors, networks and wireless operators to try and gain some of the pie.
