• Visa invests in ATM platform in West Africa

Ghanaian Chronicle: The march to a cashless society in West Africa has been boosted by a common ATM platform for five commercial banks in Ghana. The service is expected to ensure that domestic transactions are settled in local currencies among banks. The common platform, which will be managed by Visa International, will provide consumers access to 84 ATMs and 442 POS terminals across the country.
