• Report: EMV deployment up 25 percent

ePay News:  By the end of June, global Europay-MasterCard-Visa chip-card deployment stood at 329 million cards, while EMV terminal deployment totaled 3.9 million, according to new figures from the standard's coordinator EMVCo. The increase represents a respective 25 percent and 26 percent increase over figures for December, 2004.
