BERLIN, Germany — Opticality Corporation/X3D Technologies announced in a news release a restructuring of its operations, and also changed the worldwide company name to Newsight Corporation and Newsight GmbH in Europe. This change reflects a now-paired emphasis with its advances in narrowcast networks of digital displays. "The out-of-home digital display network model is quickly emerging as a more effective and flexible alternative to traditional media," said chief executive officer Jay Bingle. "By coupling our unique visual solutions, such as 3-D, with infotainment-based networks, we have the inherent ability to redefine the entire digital signage proposition."
The restructuring under Newsight will support two global operations: Newsight Media Solutions and Newsight Technologies. This evolution recognises the natural benefit of aligning the 3-D technology and the network capabilities of the company.
