GlobeSt.Retail: Cincinnati-based Kroger Co.'s announcement that it is moving into in-store TV and digital display in a big way comes as no surprise to several industry analysts, including WireSpring Technologies' Bill Gerba. "While there have been in-store television networks since the 1970s," he says in this interview, "in reality, it has only taken off in the past 24 months."
