COLUMBUS, Ohio — eAnytime Kiosks Inc. announced in a news release its next generation 2006 24/7 Professional Cleaning Service (PCS) integrated DropOff & PickUp station for supermarket and c-store chains, large employers, offices and apartment buildings.
eAnytime PCS stations are a cost-effective alternative to non-processing staffed drop-stores, home/office delivery and, when installed in a processing store, comprise a front-end to a racking system. The stations have been successfully operating in select locations since 2002.
PCS stations address dry cleaning, laundering, alterations, leather apparel, household goods and shoe repair and can also be used as a multi-shift uniform distribution station. Customers register one time at a PCS station, standalone or on a network, and are empowered to select when they want to pick up their order — next day, or any day within a two-week window, allowing for just-in-time service provider processing and delivery to the PCS station. If the customer does not pick up their order on the day selected, the PCS station computer calls the customer and a pleasant voice states "Your cleaning order is ready for pick up." PCS station activity reports are printed at the station, automatically transmitted to a designated destination or accessed remotely.
