Northwest Indiana News: In this editorial, consultant Mike Hoban points out that even though self-service transfers responsibilities to the consumer, it also transfers some substantial benefits. "Perhaps as the technology gets simultaneously more sophisticated and less expensive, there won't be a need for middlemen," he writes. "That's good for us and good for the economy."
