ePaynews: India-based fuel retailer Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd. plans to automate 425 of its premier-service Club HP outlets to give customers more payment options and improved service. As part of the 14-month automation project, HPCL will install point-of-sale terminals and an EFT solution for the acceptance of credit/debit/smart card payments. HPCL believes its new end-to-end fuel site management solution will streamline its move toward self-service petrol pumps and forecourt convenience stores, in line with global industry trends.
