Global Axcess reports revenue increase in 1Q

PONTE VEDRA, Fla.Â — Global Axcess Corp., an electronic financial-transaction processing company, reported financial results May 17 for the first quarter of 2005, which ended March 31.

According to a news release, GAXC reported a revenue increase of 69 percent, from $2.8 million in the first quarter of 2004 to $4.72 million in 1Q '05.

Per share net income for the quarter increased from .5 cents in 2004 to 1 cent in 2005.
