GLENDALE, Calif. — FutureLogic, Inc., manufacturer of thermal ticket printers for cashless gaming, announced in a news release that two FutureLogic printers have received Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Technology Products 2004 awards from Casino Journal.
FutureLogic received two Top 20 awards — for the GEN2 printer and the GEN2 VST, a new vertical-configuration printer designed for use with space-saving slim-top machines. Both printers incorporate ProMatrix, a flexible promotional couponing and trigger system that enables proactive marketing functions on the casino floor by turning ordinary slot tickets into colorful, eye-catching coupons.
Casino Journal's Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Technology Awards are considered the most prestigious honor bestowed on gaming products and services. A panel of four expert judges evaluated this year's entries and chose the 20 finalists. Attendees of the Third Annual Gaming Technology Summit (May 25-26, 2005, at Green Valley Ranch, Las Vegas) will vote for their favorite products and services from the Top 20 finalists, and platinum, gold and silver medals will be awarded to the top three technologies.

The GEN2 printer has received several gaming industry awards, including Casino Journal's Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Technology Products 2003. At G2E 2004, the GEN2 VST printer was the only printer recognized by a panel of judges and received an award in the "Best Productivity-Enhancement Technology" category from Global Gaming Business magazine.
