• Foreign gang suspected of 47 ATM thefts

Daily Post: Police in Wales believe an overseas gang may be behind a spate of thefts from North Wales ATMs.

So far 47 thefts have been reported across the region, and on April 13 police urged cash-point users to look out for three young men between the ages of 18 and 25.

The men are believed to be of East European or Asian origin.

A police spokesman said slim plastic skimming devices were found on the fronts of several of the ATMs.

Numerous customers have reported substantial amounts of cash missing from their bank accounts.
