Indian bank introduces debit card

Business Standard: Mangalore, India-based Karnataka Bank Ltd. will launch Moneyplant International Debit Card on March 29, said Ananthakrishna, chairman of the bank.

The bank has a network of 16 ATMs. Ananthakrishna said the bank expects to expand its network to 100 ATMs by December. Bank customers, however, have access to more than 800 ATMs across India under a sharing agreement with Corporation Bank.
